Global Entrepreneurship Week 2008

During 17th - 23rd November, millions of young people around the world will celebrate and promote innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity. Together with 54 other countries, Singapore is taking part in its first Global Entrepreneurship Week.

Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Lee Yi Shyan will launch the Global Entrepreneurship Week on 18 Nov at HDB Hub, from 3.00 pm to 4.30pm.

Global Entrepreneurship Week aims to inspire young people to seek better ways of doing things and to think big. They can turn their ideas into reality and make their mark. It hopes to engage young people in school, at home, on the web and at work.

Activities include a camp that exposes children to the world of business by providing them with the basic idea of what running a business is about.
