Changi Boardwalk - RT/WW

boardwalk built on kelong stilts

We have visitors in town during the Christmas and New Year holidays, so we were busy exploring Singapore. One early Sunday morning, we brought our guests to Changi Boardwalk.

Viewing decks provide panoramic views of the surroundings

I didn't know that such breathtaking views exist amidst the concrete jungles of Singapore. I should stop my window-shopping in the air-con malls. :P

The boardwalk is popular for its fishing spots

There were several groups of people fishing on Kelong Walk. A few young kids were with their parents. They had camped overnight. I peeked into some of their buckets, there were several big fishes. -o-

open views of the sea.

Some lucky people have the luxury of 'rocking themselves gently to DreamLand' in their own private sail boats. *envy*

Fancy a walk through lush greenery?

We spent two hours walking through lush greenery and took time to admire the views. We should come back for the sunset one day.... it would be beautiful.
