Jeremy Lin shoe

Jeremy Lin shoe

They’ll surely have springy Linsoles., Banking on the hope that he’s not just a shooting star, Nike is reportedly coming out with a shoe named for New York Knicks sensation Jeremy Lin.

According to the website Counterkicks, the sporting goods behemoth will soon have the Nike Hyperfuse 2012 Linsanity PE in his team’s blue and orange colors and “Lin” festooned on the back.

Lin is sponsored by Nike and wears the Linsanity has taken over the NBA with Lin leading the New York Knicks on a seven-game winning streak, including a last second buzzer beater in a victory over the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday at the Air Canada Centre.

Meanwhile, Lini was added to the Rising Stars Challenge game with the top rookies and sophomores next week, part of the NBA all-star game festivities.

Lin’s breakout came after the pool of 18 players was selected, but the NBA was pressured to add him after he scored 136 points in his first five starts, most by an NBA player since the merger with the ABA in 1976-77.
I think it’s now time for us to think of what is the best shoes for Jeremy Lin. Just last night, he made a big buzzer-beater shot beyond the arc that pull a win over the Raptors. He was wearing a black basketball shoes of either a Nike Hyperdunk or a Nike Hyperfuse model during that game. When Lin was still in Harvard, he settled mostly on hyperdunk. In his time with the Golden State Warriors and the New York Knicks presently, he seem to be comfortable balling with basketball shoes from the Swoosh brand. Do you think he deserves a signature kick or is it too early to decide?
The shoe is called the Nike Hyperfuse 2011 Linsanity PE. It has the Knicks’ blue and orange colors and it says “Lin” on the side. We’re not sure if/when Lin will begin wearing them and when they will be made public. We do know that Lin has been wearing a black and white version of the shoe since he began seeing major minutes earlier this month. If that is his signature shoe, it’s pretty sweet.
